The water of the Yangtze River flows eastward for a long time, and I don't know when it will stop, and neither will their lovesickness and parting hatred. May your heart be the same as mine,
I will not be lovesick.
Li Chi Ngai's "Bu Operator" has won the charm of folk songs, such as bright and beautiful words, overlapping and circulating, and at the same time, it has the unique new ideas of literati words. Ci originated from the Yangtze River. The first two sentences "I" and "Jun" are opposites, one lives at the river head and the other at the river end. Seeing the spatial distance between the two sides also implies a kind of lovesickness. Overlapping sentence patterns strengthen the emotional atmosphere of chanting, as if you can feel the protagonist's affectionate thoughts and sighs.
The image of a woman who yearns for her in the distance stands out against the background of Wan Li. The first two sentences directly derive three or four sentences. Wan Li is far away at the end of the river, which leads to the backbone of the whole word "I miss you every day"; Living on the banks of the Yangtze River leads to "* * * drinking Yangtze River water". If you look at each sentence in isolation, it is not excellent, but when you sing it together, you will feel that there is a deep feeling and wonderful truth outside of pen and ink. This is a turning point in two sentences, implicit but not published. The literal meaning is simple and straightforward: I miss you every day, but I can't see you, but I drink from a river. After careful tasting, it seems that although you can't see it, you can still drink the water of the Yangtze River. This "* * * drink" seems to be a little comforting to lovesickness. The poet only told the facts of "not seeing" and "drinking" in an understatement, hiding the connotation of the turning relationship between them, making people guess the taste of the song, which made the feelings of the words particularly profound. Jin Mao praised these words as "the handsome words of ancient Yuefu" ("Postscript of Gu Xi's Ci"), which can be said to hit home.
"When will the water stop? When will this hatred end? " The change of head is still closely connected with the Yangtze River water, and "be there or be there" is a further expression of not hating. The water of the Yangtze River flows eastward, and I don't know when it will stop, and I don't know when acacia will stop. Using the tone of "when should we stop" and "when should we stop" shows that on the one hand, we hope that we can hate ourselves subjectively, and on the other hand, we hate ourselves objectively. The river never flows, and my hatred for acacia isolation is endless. This word, relying on the power of hate, turned the directness and enthusiasm of folk songs into profound and graceful songs, and the repetition of words and mistakes into simplicity and implication. Writing here, the poet excavated a new meaning: "I only hope that your heart is the same as mine, and I won't miss home." No hatred, but deep love. "My heart" is an inexhaustible river. Naturally, I hope that "your heart is like my heart" and you will live up to your homesickness. Although the gap between the river head and the river end can't be bridged, two loving hearts are connected by one vein. In this way, one-sided lovesickness has become the expectation of both sides, and no other hatred has become eternal love and expectation. In this way, the two sides of the barrier will be nourished and comforted forever in their hearts. Excavating from "when is this hatred" is the deepening and sublimation of feelings. The distance between the head of the river and the tail of the river has become a condition for emotional sublimation here. At the end of this word, it is written about eternal love that is isolated from the world, giving people the feeling that rivers and streams will flow forever.
The whole poem takes the Yangtze River water as a lyric clue. The long Yangtze River water is not only a natural barrier on both sides of Wan Li, but also a natural carrier to connect with each other and send affection to distant places. It is not only the trigger and symbol of long lovesickness and endless hatred, but also the witness of eternal love and expectation between the two sides. With the development of ci poetry, its functions are constantly changing, which can be described as inexhaustible.
