Who is Pangu?

Pangu, the creator of China myths and legends, is said to have been born in a dragon egg in Tongbai area and raised by Ying Long. Pangu is the oldest god in the myth system of China. Its birth is very old, and it has been circulated in people's mouths for a long time, until Xú Zhēng recorded it in a book during the Three Kingdoms period. There are image descriptions in Shu Yi Collection, Guangbo Biography, Fairy World Trial and many other works.

Extended data:

The discussion on the origin of Pangu can be roughly summarized into two main viewpoints: native theory and foreign theory. Scholars who hold nativism mainly demonstrate from two aspects. On the one hand, Pangu is often associated with Zan, but Zan is a god dog and Pangu is a giant. At first, there was no miracle to create heaven and earth, or Mr. Wen Yiduo and Mr. Chang thought Pangu was the sound transition of Fuxi. Li Fuqing has distinguished between right and wrong, and these are all based on evidence of so-called sound transmission. However, the behavior is often inconsistent, so the conclusion is questionable.
