2. Zhanghuatai, also known as zhanghua Palace, was a detached palace built by King Chu Ling in the sixth year (535 BC), which was later destroyed by soldiers. This magnificent building, which was "state-owned and completed in several years", was praised as "the best in the world" at that time. It is located near Longwan, Qianjiang, Hubei.
3. Historically, Zhang Huatai's platform was 10 feet high and 15 feet wide. It went up the stairs around the bar and had to rest three times in the middle to reach the top, so it was also called "three rest platforms"; In addition, because King Chu Ling especially likes thin-waisted women to dance lightly in the palace, many ladies-in-waiting try to flatter the king, eat less and suffer from hunger in order to slim their waists, so it is also called "thin-waisted palace". This is recorded in the notes of Zuozhuan, Guoyu, Hanfeizi, Historical Records, Hanshu, Houhanshu and Shuijing.
