Han Yuefu Folk Song·Shangxie

Shangxie! ② I want to get to know you, ③ I will live a long life without any end. ④

The mountains have no mausoleums, the rivers are exhausted, the winter thunders tremble, the summer rains and snows, the heaven and the earth are united,

I dare to fight with you! ⑤

Notes

①This is a love poem. Swearing to heaven represents the firmness and eternity of love. ②Up: Points to the sky. Shangxie:

I still say "Oh God". This sentence refers to heaven as an oath. ③Acquaintance: blind date. ④ Order: command, make. From the sentence "long life", it means not only to "get to know you", but also to make this acquaintance never fade. ⑤Except

the mountains become flat, the rivers drain, winter thunder, summer snow, heaven and earth merge, all impossible things happen

and I will be with you cut off.

Critical

This article is a love song from Han Yuefu's "Rao Song". It is a passionate confession of an infatuated woman to her lover.

In art Very ingenious. After the protagonist of the poem swears by heaven and frankly expresses his wish to "get to know you and live a long life

without end", he turns to write from the perspective of "being with you", which is more complicated than usual. The shop is more interesting.

The protagonist imagined three sets of peculiar natural mutations as the conditions for "breaking up with the king": "The mountains have no mausoleums, and the rivers are exhausted" - the mountains and rivers disappeared; "Winter "Thunder shakes, summer rain and snow" - the four seasons are reversed; "heaven and earth join" - returns to the world of chaos again. These ideas are becoming more and more absurd, bizarre and impossible to happen at all. This emphasizes the protagonist's undying love so much that it fundamentally eliminates the possibility of "breaking up with you". This unique lyrical way accurately expresses the unique absolute psychology of people in love. Affectionate and whimsical, it is indeed "the masterpiece of short chapters".
