1869 In March, armand David, a French naturalist, discovered an animal called "Flower Bear" by local people in Ya 'an, Sichuan, which was identified as a new undiscovered species by western scholars. Because it is a cat-like bear, it is named "Panda Bear".
1939 was exhibited in Beibei Museum, Sichuan, explaining that the title was "Panda" written from left to right. At that time, tourists used to read from right to left according to the tradition of China, and misread it as "panda". In the long run, it was misinformed and changed the name of the panda over time. Since then, its common Chinese name is Giant Panda, which has been recognized by people.
