Due to the invasion of China by foreign powers, Liu Changchun did not have normal training before the competition, and 2 1 made a long journey in the Pacific Ocean, Liu Changchun, who was overworked, gave up the 400-meter race, but he was eliminated in the 100 and 200-meter preliminaries because he only finished fifth and sixth. Therefore, Liu Changchun can be said to be the first athlete in China to officially participate in the Olympic Games.
