Legend of clear autumn
According to myth, Qingqiu Mountain is a place rich in mineral resources, with many jades in the north and many green pheasants in the south, which was a very famous place name in ancient times. From the Yellow Emperor to the Xia Dynasty, they are all very important countries. Legend has it that Chiyou once crusaded here before his death.
Qingqiu is different from the outside world. It is said that it is the place where the foxes live. People there respect foxes and regard the nine-tailed fox as an auspicious beast. They think that eating fox meat can ward off evil spirits, eliminate diseases and make people healthy.
On some stone carvings in the Han Dynasty, the nine-tailed fox in Qingqiu was carved on it, along with a three-legged toad and a white rabbit, which were placed next to the Queen Mother of the West as a protector.
