Who is Vincent?

Wensheng is Confucius.

Confucius (55 BC1~ April 479 BC 1 1) was born in Zhong Ni, a native of Lu (now Qufu City, Shandong Province), and his ancestral home was Li Yi (now Xiayi County, Henan Province). China was a great thinker and educator in ancient times, the founder of Confucianism, and he was the Great Sage.

Confucius initiated private lectures and advocated benevolence, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom and faith. He has 3000 disciples, including 72 saints. He led some disciples to travel around the world for fourteen years, and revised the Six Classics (Poetry, Books, Rites, Music, I Ching, Spring and Autumn) in his later years. After his death, his disciples and re-disciples recorded the remarks and thoughts of Confucius and his disciples and compiled The Analects, which was regarded as a Confucian classic.

Introduction to Six Classics

The poems, books, rites, changes, music and the Spring and Autumn Period compiled by Confucius, the founder of Confucianism in China, were later called the Six Classics. Yue Jing has been lost, so it is usually called the Five Classics. The Book of Rites refers to the Book of Rites in the Han Dynasty, and the Book of Rites in the Five Classics after the Song Dynasty generally refers to the Book of Rites. In Saint Amethyst: "The Book of Songs is easy to learn, and the number of six classics is important". Rites refer to big gifts and small gifts, one of which was later lost and renamed the Book of Rites.

These six ancient books were not written by Confucius, but existed before Confucius, and Confucius just did some sorting work on them. These six ancient books, which were preserved from ancient times, were owned by the royal nobles before Confucius, and the textbooks listed by Shen Shushi when he talked about educating the prince in Guoyu Chu Yu included these six ancient books.
