Friar Sand: Formerly known as Friar Sand, he was the shutter general of the Jade Emperor in the Heavenly Palace. Because he broke the glass lamp and violated the dogma, he was expelled from heaven and made waves in the quicksand river on earth. The weapon he used was a demon-reducing staff, and he was extremely skilled in martial arts. He was not afraid of strong enemies and knew how to turn the earth to ward off evil spirits. Enlightened by Guanyin Bodhisattva in the South China Sea, he worshipped Tang Priest as a teacher, and together with the Monkey King and Zhu Bajie, he protected Tang Priest's Buddhist scriptures in the West. He has two treasures on him, one is a bodhisattva gourd, and the other is a collar composed of nine skeletons. Later, he took nine planes as the nine palaces, put bodhisattvas and gourds in them, and turned them into a French boat, as steady as a canoe, and successfully helped four people cross the river westward. On the way to protect Tang Priest's scriptures in the Western Heaven, Friar Sand was conscientious and loyal. After the Buddhist scriptures, it was named Golden Lohan. Huaili Yan, who plays Friar Sand in The Journey to the West, died in Beijing Millennium Hospital on April 12, 2009 because of inhaling dichlorvos and suffering from lung disease!
Friar Sand, code name: Sha Wujing, these were later taken by others, and they were called Sha Xin in those days.
