Shaoyin is rooted in a spring, that is, water gushes from the ground like heaven.
The kidney is well-drilled, and the pores in the ground are also. The qi and blood movement of this point is that the body passes through water and walks out of the body surface from the pores on the ground, so it is a well point of the kidney meridian.
The clinical application of Yongquan point is as follows: 1. Nourishing yin and reducing fire, inducing fire to return to yuan; 2. reconcile yin and yang, enlighten; 3. Warming yang and benefiting qi.

Yongquan point can stimulate kidney-qi, which is used in gynecology to treat infertility and dystocia caused by deficiency of kidney-qi.
