Historical Records Yu Ruyi

Liu Yiqing's Shi Shuo Xin Yu in the Southern Song Dynasty and the Book of Jin compiled in the early Tang Dynasty both recorded the wishful thinking. It's just that the material and shape at that time are unknown today. Presumably, Ruyi originated from Claw Stick, which Han people call "Dont Ask For Help". In the Qing Dynasty, Ruyi was carved with a whole piece of jade, such as utensils. The white jade produced in Yangzhou is the most famous. The other is "Three Embedding Ruyi", that is, the handle is made of rosewood, enamel and gold and silver. The head, waist and tail of the handle are oval, inlaid with jade ornaments respectively, and all kinds of materials are perfectly matched.
