The relationship between Mu and Zhu.
According to the Summary of Simplified Chinese Characters (new edition 1986) of the State Language Committee, Zhu is a simplified Chinese character of Zhu. Before the simplification of Chinese characters, Zhuzi often wrote "Zhu". Ban Gu's "Han Shu Shu Shu" (Volume 83), Part 53, has "Zhu Bo Zi Yuan, people also." The forty-three volumes and thirteen of Hanshu are "Zhu Jian, a man of Chu." Zhu Xiuzhi is the 36th biography of Song Shu. Zhang Ming Shi Volume 161 Biography Article 49 Zhu Sheng Biography. Yang Shen's Poems of Sheng 'an in Ming Dynasty recorded various usages of the characters. For example, "Bamboo Shoots and Fish River" mentions the cloud in Suzhou, Wei: "Dongting picks Zhu Guo, Songjiang presents white scales." The biographies of four ancestors in the Draft of Qing History are Zhu Yousong, Zhu in Tang Dynasty, Zhu Shengnong in Shu, Zhu in Le 'an and Zhu Youyi in Jinhua. It can be seen that the word "Zhu" was widely used before the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the official surname Zhu was generally written as "Zhu".
According to the character division method, the word "Zhu" can be divided into stone and Zhu, and stone is an important part of the word "Zhu". The author separates the word "stone" from his surname "Zhu", and then according to the homophonic relationship between stone and tapir, the synonym between tapir and pig, and the homophonic relationship between pig and Zhu, it is concluded that the word "stone" implies Zhu's surname. In order to hint at Zhu's surname in the title, he named the title "The Story of the Stone", then fabricated a dialogue between Taoist priests and disciples, and explained the origin of "The Story of the Stone". This dialogue lets readers know that Brother Shi is the author of The Story of the Stone.
Why does the author use genus and earthly branch as the surname of "Liugong"? Isn't it ok to use a thousand grandchildren Zhao Li in Hundred Family Names? These surnames were once the most common surnames in history. Now we understand that the author has a very important purpose, that is, he needs to write a specific surname into the title of the book, so naturally there will be no thousands of grandchildren. This special surname is related to twelve genera and is Zhu's surname. The interpretation of the word "Zhu" in Shuo Wen Jie Zi is: "Zhu, red heart wood, pine and cypress. From wood, one is in it. " Stone and Zhu form the word "Zhu", which shows how close the relationship between stone and Zhu is. The origin of Zhu's surname is red heart wood, from which the word wood can be removed. The word wood and stone is the main component of the word "Zhu", and it can also be said that the word wood and stone implies the word "Zhu". "Mu's Meng Qian" should have another meaning besides expressing the love relationship between Baoyu and Daiyu. In the fifth "lifelong mistake", there are:
"All roads lead to gold and jade, and I only look at the alliance between wood and stone."
Chapter 36:
Baochai had just made two or three petals here, when suddenly Baoyu shouted in his dream, "How can you believe what monks and Taoists say?" What is a good marriage? I'd rather say this is a marriage of wood and stone! "
In the past, red scholars interpreted this passage of Baoyu as resisting traditional ethics and striving for personality liberation and freedom of marriage. Although this explanation is correct, it is only superficial. Now that we know that "mother" refers to Zhu's surname, we can get a deeper explanation. Similar to the decoding method of Tibetan poems, the word "gold" is extracted from "golden jade marriage" and the word "wood stone" is extracted from "wood stone alliance". "All roads lead to gold and jade, and I only look at the wood and stone alliance." Can be interpreted as:
"Everything is gold, I only read Zhu (Zhu)."
The sentence in paragraph 36 above can be interpreted as:
"I suddenly saw Baoyu shouting in his dream:' How do you believe what monks and Taoists say? What is gold? I like Zhu (Zhu) better!' "
