This concept has two basic characteristics, namely, the connotation and extension of the concept:
1, the connotation of the concept refers to the meaning of this concept, that is, the unique attributes of things and objects reflected by this concept. For example, "commodity is a labor product for exchange".
2. The extension of the concept refers to the scope of the object reflected by this concept. That is, things or objects with attributes reflected by concepts. For example, "forest includes shelter forest, timber forest, economic forest, firewood forest and special-purpose forest", which is to explain the concept of "forest" from the perspective of extension.
