Historical Evolution of General Administration of Metallurgical Geology of China

1952, the Ministry of Heavy Industry established the Geology Department, which was later changed to the Geological Bureau.

1988, the Bureau of Geology is placed under the General Administration of Geological Exploration of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, and is a public institution directly under the Ministry.

At the beginning of 200 1, according to the State Council [20065438+0] No.2 document, some metallurgical geological teams were managed locally, and most units were handed over to the central government.

In April, 20001year, the Central Organizing Committee renamed the former General Bureau of Geological Exploration of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry as the General Bureau of Metallurgical Geological Exploration Engineering of China, and renamed it a subordinate unit of the General Bureau.

In August, 20001year, the State Administration for Registration of Public Institutions registered public institutions as legal persons for the General Administration, directly affiliated bureaus and geological teams respectively, and issued certificates of public institutions as legal persons.

In May 2003, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council was established. China Metallurgical Geological Exploration Engineering General Bureau is managed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.

In July 2006, the State-owned Assets Development Plan [2006] 126 announced that the main business of China Metallurgical Geology Bureau was solid mineral geological exploration, research, development, service, superhard material production and mechanical equipment manufacturing.

In August, 2006, with the approval of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the General Bureau of Metallurgical Geology Exploration and Engineering of China was renamed as the General Bureau of Metallurgical Geology of China, and the names of all units were changed accordingly.
