Poyang Lake was called Peng Li, Peng Lize and Peng Ze in ancient times. Poyang Lake, an important shallow water lake in the Yangtze River basin, is characterized by water passing, throughput and seasonality. Poyang Lake is located in the north of Jiangxi Province, on the south bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Poyang Lake is the largest freshwater lake in China and the second largest lake in China, located in the north of Jiangxi Province, and the second largest lake in China after Qinghai Lake. Poyang Lake plays a great role in regulating the water level of the Yangtze River, conserving water resources, improving the local climate and maintaining the ecological balance in the surrounding areas.
Zhelin Lake is located in the northwest of Yongxiu County, Jiangxi Province, spanning Yongxiu and Wuning counties. It takes about one and a half hours to drive from Nanchang. With an area of 38 square kilometers and a storage capacity of more than 7 billion cubic meters, the lake contains more than 99 islands, making it the largest artificial lake in Jiangxi.
Fairy Lake is located in the southwest suburb of Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province, 16 kilometers away. It is the birthplace of the legend of "Fairy Descending from Earth" described in the ancient book Soushenji. It is a well-known lake-type national key scenic spot and belongs to the largest gene bank of subtropical tree species in Asia. 198 square kilometers of scenic spots, 5 square kilometers of lakes, dotted with islands, crystal clear lakes, mysterious and attractive virgin forests.
Qingshan Lake is located in the eastern suburb of Nanchang, with an area of about 4 hectares, winding lakeshore, vast blue waves and beautiful scenery. It is a famous scenic spot in Nanchang. Qingshan Lake under construction is divided into southwest and northeast parts. There are five amusement spots in the southwest, such as amusement park, skill field, swimming pool, Jingzhou District and Jiangxi Youth Activity Center. There will be five scenic spots in the northeast, such as Qingshan Garden, Fish Fun Garden, Pottery Garden, Bird Watching Garden and Jiangxi Celebrity Garden. After completion, the Qingshan Lake Scenic Area will receive 65, tourists a day. Nanchang Qingshan Lake Scenic Area is located in Qingshan Lake District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, and is the largest inner lake in Nanchang.
Xianghu Lake is a picturesque scenic spot, located in the western suburbs of Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. Elephant Lake is formed by the confluence of water from Nanjiang, Beijiang, Dongjiang, Xijiang and Qingshan Lake. Its plan looks like an elephant, so it is named Elephant Lake. The site of Wanshou Palace is a small island in Xianghu Lake, with a total area of about 6 mu, which is called "Blessing Island". The building complex with a building area of about 4,6 square meters on the island is the orthodox Dojo of the Taoist holy land-Nanchang Wanshou Palace. It is like a pearl embedded in the whole Xianghu scenic area, which is eye-catching and also known as the saint in the scene.
Aixi Lake is located in the East High-tech Development Zone of Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, China, covering an area of 3.96 square kilometers. It is the largest lake in Nanchang, second only to Yaohu Lake.
Gantang Lake, known as Jingxing Lake in ancient times, is located in the center of Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province, and is the most attractive scenic spot in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. Later, it was renamed Gan Tang in memory of Li Bodezheng, the secretariat of Tangjiangzhou. More than ten miles around the lake, covering an area of more than a thousand acres. Gantang Lake is rippling with blue waves, shining in the morning and overcast in the evening, reflecting in Kuanglu, with beautiful scenery. Gantang Lake is filled with scenic spots and historical sites such as Yanshui Pavilion and Sixian Bridge, which makes people linger.
