Among the *** 16 14 generals awarded by China People's Liberation Army in 1955, the former 10 generals with a large number in their original counties were called "Top Ten General Counties".
Due to the changes in administrative divisions after the liberation of the whole country, the birthplace of some generals also has a "double" theory, which is divided according to the existing administrative divisions here. For example, according to the administrative division before liberation, Lieutenant General Wu Xianen's native place should be Macheng, Hubei Province, but after liberation, a part of Macheng was placed in Xinxian County, Henan Province, so General Wu Xianen was placed in Henan Province.
