Mr Ceng Shiqiang and Mr Ma Weidou are both older than me. I have also listened to some of their lectures, and I admire their knowledge. As for who is smarter, it's really hard to judge. Let me briefly introduce:
Professor Ceng Shiqiang was born in Fujian and grew up in Taiwan Province. The ancestral home is in Zhangzhou, and the enlightenment education is also in Zhangzhou. He is currently the vice president of Hu Xueyan Research Association, a professor at Taiwan Province Normal University and the chairman of China Unification Promotion Association. Mr Ceng Shiqiang was born in 1934. Outstanding achievements have been made in teaching, scientific research, writing, oral English and translation. Ceng Shiqiang is regarded as one of the three management experts in China by the business community, and has been invited to give lectures in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Hongkong and Chinese mainland for many times. It is understood that Mr. Ceng Shiqiang's father was the first principal of Zhangzhou Hua 'an No.1 Middle School, and his initial education stage was in the then Southern Primary School (Xinqiao Primary School). Later, because his father went to work in Xiamen, Ceng Shiqiang went to Xiamen to attend middle school with his father and went to Taiwan Province Province in the 1950s. Ceng Shiqiang is currently the president of Taiwan Province Wisdom University and a professor at Taiwan Jiaotong University. He is good at management comparison among China, the United States and Japan, management thought comparison between China and the West, interpersonal relationship and communication. He once explained the Book of Changes in CCTV lecture room. The lecture "Tao Te Ching" in Hanguguan attracted more than 2,000 lovers of Chinese studies, and CCTV's Lecture Room was recorded live.
Mr. Ma Weidou went to the countryside in his early years and jumped the queue. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he and Wang Shuo, Liu Zhenyun and others set up "Haima Film Studio" and created influential TV series "The Story of Editorial Department" and "Haima Song and Dance Hall". In 1980s, he began to collect China ancient cultural relics. By the 1990s, his collection had reached a large scale, with 1000 pieces of ceramics, ancient furniture and jade articles. This is part of the resumes published by the two gentlemen, from which we can see that the research direction and academic focus of the two gentlemen are completely different. Comparatively speaking, the knowledge spread by Ceng Laoshi is more in business and management, which is a little far from the life of ordinary people, while what Mr. Ma said is closer to the life of ordinary people. So there is no way to compare who is smarter.
Personally, I think that understanding is wisdom, and there is no need to look at wisdom unfathomable. Both gentlemen are smart people.
The eighth chapter of Tao Te Ching says: Good is like water. Water is good for all things without dispute, and evil for all, so it is a few words. Live in a good place; Heart, goodness; Harmony and kindness; Words, integrity; Positive and good governance; Things, good energy; Move, be good. Husband is just indisputable, so there is nothing special. Based on their experiences, studies and lectures, we can find that they are "short-cut" in terms of living, mind, harmony, speech, righteousness, behavior and behavior. Therefore, it doesn't matter who is smarter.
There are too many poor scholars, which is not Ma Ye's specialty! Ma Weidou talked about related humanities by the way when collecting. When I was listening, I heard a lot of traces that Ma has just learned knowledge, which may be the reason why Ma also has a low academic background! Ma has been buying antiques for many years. He is very clever. As can be seen from his face, he also summed up many principles of dealing with people, so many people like to listen to it, which is really useful!
And Zeng Shiqiang's knowledge and wisdom are higher, and he is very knowledgeable, knowing everything at all times and in all countries! One issue said that scientists are tools of politicians. Scientists are very powerful, but there is nothing they can do! This is just one of them, and how to teach children, how to deal with the workplace and so on! Too many, this kind old man has one of the best wisdom in China! It must be above Yi Zhongtian and Gao!
This is not to belittle Master Ma, but it should not be compared together!
