What is "architectural style"?
Building French Style is a technical book compiled and revised by a craftsman at the end of the Northern Song Dynasty to meet the needs of royal architecture. Published in the second year of Chongning (1 103). It was mainly promulgated as building materials, labor quotas and operating procedures for palaces, government offices, mansions and other buildings, which was the norm for managing the construction industry at that time. Li Jie collected the method and experience of WAM's works at that time, and systematically summarized the achievements of architectural technology, making Architectural French one of the precious classical architectural documents.
