Before the reunification of Qin Dynasty, the Huaxia nationality was separated by national boundaries, and the languages of all countries were homologous and heterogeneous, with dialects, almost belonging to one country, but they all considered themselves "Huaxia" in national identity. During the Qin Dynasty, the languages of all countries were unified, the original national boundaries were broken, and the reality of one country and one race was gradually dispersed by the new situation.
China was ruled by the Han Dynasty for more than 400 years. Foreigners have long called Huaxia "Han Chinese", while China people habitually call themselves "Han Chinese". In the Han dynasty, a large number of people became officials, and then officials became nobles. In this process, it is possible to bring the word "Han" into written language. Over time, "Huaxia" and "Han" have become the names of the major nationalities in China.
The word "Han" appears many times in the History of the North, the Book of the Tang Dynasty and the History of Liao Dynasty. In the Republic of China, the concept of western countries was introduced, and the written language was changed from "Chinese" to "Chinese".
