I learned that I didn't sign up to read this book, because I probably read it on WeChat. This book is too professional, too difficult to chew, or modern, and there is no sense of fluency at all.
While I was still struggling, I found that the students in our appreciation class had written professional poetry appreciation homework and submitted it in the remarks area. The vanity of not wanting to be left behind in an instant prompted me to place an order again.
Well, if there is no reading club, I guess I will never read this kind of book in my life. I have to practice breaking through the reading width for myself.
At present, after reading the contents of the first two chapters, I have no interest in poetry and find that poetry is the originator of writing and literature. And the more I read it, the more I feel that literature, history and philosophy are not separated. This paper records the difference between poetry and prose in the form of a debate and dialogue between several literary giants, which is very wonderful. (I'll write this part of the notes later.)
Reading notes:
The first chapter is the origin of poetry
"To understand the essence of a thing, it is best to study its origin first; This is like understanding a person's personality. It is best to understand his ancestors and environment first. "
In this chapter, Mr. Zhu Guangqian demonstrated three questions:
1. Poetry is the earliest literature.
People are used to using archaeological evidence to prove the origin, but Mr. Zhu thinks that historical and archaeological evidence are unreliable, and psychological explanation is more telling. Starting from the psychological function of poetry to express emotion, from China ancient books to ancient Greek art, it is concluded that poetry expresses human nature by expressing inner feelings or reproducing external impressions. Draw a conclusion: the origin of poetry should be as long as the origin of mankind.
2. Poetry has the same origin as music and dance.
From bacchanalia in ancient Greece to Cowbury dance in Australia, we can see that they come down in one continuous line and are a trinity mixed art, and their * * * is characterized by rhythm. Later, the three arts were divided, music developed into harmony, dance developed into posture, and poetry developed into literal meaning.
However, in the process of poetry differentiation and independence, there are still traces of the same origin, namely, overlapping, overlapping sentences (including chorus in ancient Greek tragedies and chimes in China's old plays), lines (unique to China's poems), meter (neat chapters and sentences) and rhyme. And these traces of the same strain have formed a fixed form of poetry tradition.
3. About the author of this poem
Historically, it has changed from mass art to individual art. The original poem expresses the same feelings or beliefs, so that it can be handed down. Now once the personal creation is completed, "the account is settled."
"The written form is an inviolable authority."
From the perspective of the development of folk songs, it has experienced two stages: personal creation and mass creation. A song is created by an individual, spread out, and repeatedly transformed in different regions, customs and dialects to form different versions.
"The more developed the individual consciousness is, the more divided the society is, and the more popular art tends to decline."
