Wang Mo's main achievements

Wang Mo's main achievements are in the collation of ancient books, historical research and compilation. He is brilliant, energetic and good at reading and research. He praised the research of Zheng Qiao and Ma Duanlin (both experts in textual research), and collected classics and biographies all day long to make up for the lack of history books. Before learning, he tried to identify and correct some cultural relics in Jiangxi Tongzhi, and made corrections. In his book Archaeological Records of Jiangxi, he made a mistake about the statement about the gate city of Jinxi in Old Records: "The gate city was not built by Zhou Di, but Yu Xiaoqing in the Southern Dynasty led twenty thousand troops to camp in the industrial pond, and even eight cities forced Zhou Di to surround it with trees around Los Angeles, which was later called the gate city. Shi Lin 'ang's "Jiangxi Tongzhi" holds that it is even more wrong to focus on the southern Tang Dynasty. Due to the incompleteness of figures in the Six Dynasties and Five Dynasties, and the lack of records of Jiangxi humanities in history books, he collected information extensively and compiled 52 volumes of Records of yu zhang Literature. All these have filled the gaps in the field of historiography and preserved many precious documents. Notes on Geography of Han and Tang Dynasties contains many lost articles of ancient geography, which has high academic value. He has made great contributions to the compilation, compilation and theory of local chronicles, and has been valued by later local chroniclers.
