A rare Asian unicorn was found in Vietnam. Does it have anything to do with the legendary unicorn?

1992, zoologists first discovered a strange animal in Anan Mountains of Vietnam, which is the Asian unicorn.

1. The scientific name of the Asian unicorn is the Central South Antelope. Also known as Annan wildebeest, Wu Guangniu and Jiao Jianniu. They are generally about 1.5 m long and weigh about 100 kg. Most of them are dark brown, with short and thin upper body hair and long and fluffy lower body hair. Their noses and wings are narrow, their nasal bones are slightly arched, white characters are distributed on both sides of their cheeks, and there are a pair of long and straight sharp corners on their heads. Because it seems to have only one horn from the side, it is also called the Asian unicorn. They are mild in nature and mainly distributed in Vietnam and Laos, with the largest distribution range. At present, there are less than 200 species, which are extremely endangered species.

Second, the credibility is not high. According to ancient records, Kirin looks like an elk, with a lion's head and tiger's eyes and a dragon's tail. It has horns on its head and raw meat on its horns. It is as docile as an ox and has four different supports. Obviously, if compared with the known species in life, there is basically no similarity with it, so we are more inclined to the ancients to invent some kind of creature that existed at that time. However, after many textual researches, scholars believe that Asian Kirin is very rare, and there are no records related to this species in many ancient books. It was not until 1992 that humans first discovered its trace. It can be seen that the credibility of building Kirin based on Asian Kirin is not high.

Third, similarity. It is called Asian Kirin because it is similar to Kirin in some characteristics, such as its head, voice and body shape, so it is called this name. In the wild environment, apart from Le Hu and leopard, the biggest natural enemy of Asian unicorns is human beings. Although this animal's self-protection and defense are not low, their skin is very thick, and their feet growing on stones can pierce each other's fragile stomachs. In the face of predators, Asian Kirin still has a chance to resist, but in the face of predators, there is basically no chance of survival.
