Anemia of gastric cancer, how to treat Chinese medicine and diet?

Gastric cancer is the most common malignant tumor in digestive system, and its morbidity and mortality rank second and third respectively in China. Patients with gastric cancer are often complicated with different degrees of anemia. Studies at home and abroad have reported that the incidence of anemia in gastric cancer is 50% to 80%, and a considerable number of patients were diagnosed with gastric cancer after anemia was first discovered.

First, the cause of anemia

Generally speaking, the main causes of anemia are insufficient production and acute and chronic bleeding, and some patients have impaired renal function and insufficient EPO secretion.

1, insufficient yield: patients with gastric cancer often have difficulty eating, tumor consumption and secondary malnutrition anemia; Postoperative resection of gastric cancer patients leads to nutrient absorption disorder and lack of hematopoietic raw materials such as folic acid, iron and vitamin B 12, thus aggravating the occurrence of anemia.

2, acute and chronic bleeding: advanced gastric cancer is easy to lead to acute and chronic blood loss, most often manifested as long-term melena, if the amount of bleeding is large, it can be manifested as hematemesis.

Second, western medicine treatment of anemia

Patients with severe anemia (hemoglobin Hb 60g/L) need blood transfusion. Mild and moderate anemia can be corrected by supplementing folic acid, vitamin B 12 and ferrous succinate; For patients with insufficient EPO secretion, EPO can be supplemented; Patients with bleeding can use proton inhibitors such as omeprazole and rabeprazole.

Third, TCM syndrome differentiation treatment of anemia

In the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the syndrome differentiation of anemia in gastric cancer belongs to the category of "fatigue" and "blood deficiency", and its pathogenesis is deficiency of both qi and blood, which is closely related to liver, spleen and kidney, among which spleen deficiency is the main cause of blood deficiency. The representative prescription for treating spleen deficiency and blood deficiency is Guipi Decoction, which contains Ginseng, Astragalus, Atractylodis Macrocephala, Angelica, Arillus Longan, Poria, Semen Ziziphi Spinosae, Cortex et Radix Polygalae, Radix Aucklandiae and Glycyrrhrizae Radix. The whole prescription has the effects of invigorating spleen, benefiting qi and generating blood. For patients with kidney deficiency such as soreness of waist and knees, tinnitus and deafness, night sweats and nocturnal emission, products such as Lycium barbarum, Polygonatum sibiricum and Ligustrum lucidum can be added to nourish kidney and replenish essence. For patients with liver yin deficiency such as dull pain in chest and hypochondrium and blurred vision, liver nourishing drugs such as Radix Paeoniae Alba, Radix Polygoni Multiflori Preparata and Radix Rehmanniae Preparata should be added appropriately. Combined with the new theory of removing blood stasis and promoting granulation in traditional Chinese medicine, Chuanxiong, angelica tail, Spatholobus suberectus, burnt hawthorn and other drugs are properly combined to promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis and promote granulation.

Fourth, anemia diet aftercare

Patients should eat more foods rich in iron, such as pork liver, lean meat, dairy products, beans, apples and green leafy vegetables. Not suitable for drinking tea. Cooking porridge in an iron pan is very effective, and it is very effective for iron deficiency anemia. Introduce two diets for anemia.

Ginseng and pigeon soup: 1 pigeon, codonopsis pilosula 25g, angelica sinensis 12g, simmered in water.

Longan Gouqi porridge: longan meat, Lycium barbarum each 15g, black rice and japonica rice each 50g. Production: Wash longan meat, Lycium barbarum, black rice and japonica rice respectively, put them into a pot, add appropriate amount of water, boil over high fire, and then simmer over low fire until the rice soup becomes thick.
