"Earthquake cloud" refers to the banded clouds with different colors, such as white, gray, orange and orange, appearing over the earthquake zone when an earthquake is about to occur. Its distribution direction is perpendicular to the epicenter and generally appears in the morning and evening. Height and length of seismic clouds: According to visual observation, the height of seismic clouds can reach more than 6000 meters, which is equivalent to the height of high clouds in meteorological clouds.
At present, the cause of the formation of earthquake clouds is still a mystery. The earthquake itself is a very complicated process, and the earthquake clouds are not an accurate prediction method.
Recording of seismic clouds
As early as the17th century, there was a record in China ancient books that "the sky is clear at noon or after sunset, but there are fine clouds like lines, which are very long and have omens". 1935 "Rebuilding the Records of Longde County, Ningxia, China" records that "the weather is beautiful, the blue sky is clean, and suddenly dark clouds are like wisps, and Wan Ru snakes lie across the sky.
However, the international research on earthquake clouds is still in recent years, among which China and Japan are in the leading position. The study of seismic clouds in China began after the 1976 Tangshan earthquake, and there have been more than ten successful examples. In Japan, there are hundreds of successful examples of using earthquake clouds to predict earthquakes. Interestingly, it was not a seismologist but a politician who first proposed the name "earthquake cloud". He is the former mayor of Fukuoka, Japan. He once personally experienced the earthquake of magnitude 7 in Fukuoka, Japan, 1956, and saw a very strange cloud in the sky during the earthquake. As long as this kind of cloud appears in the future, there will always be earthquakes, so he called this kind of cloud "earthquake cloud".
The shape of earthquake clouds
1On June 27th, 948, an abnormal banded cloud suddenly appeared in the sky of Naraichi, which seemed to split the sky in half. This strange cloud was seen by the mayor of Naraichi at that time. On the third day, a magnitude 7.3 earthquake really happened in Fukui, Japan. The mayor called this strange cloud "ribbon", "rope" or "earthquake cloud like a long snake", and thought that an earthquake would occur within a few days after the sudden appearance of "earthquake cloud" in the sky. The mayor's assertion was supported by meteorologists from the Engineering Department of Kyushu University in Japan. 1978 65438+1October 12 At about 5 pm, the mayor's speech team in the auditorium on the fifth floor of Nara Chamber of Commerce and Industry suddenly saw a slender red cloud fluttering from southwest to northeast in the sky outside the window. He immediately stopped speaking and announced to about 300 participants that this was an "earthquake cloud"! Clouds have a strong floating force and are about to break through other clouds. The "earthquake cloud" is sometimes white and sometimes black. This time it is red, because it happened at dusk. He estimated that there would be a big earthquake in two or three days. Results On the third day (noon on June 65438 +654381October+April 4), an earthquake of magnitude 7 occurred off the coast of Oshima, Izu Islands, south of Tokyo, Japan.
Seismic clouds can be roughly divided into four types:
★ The first type is horizontal stripe cloud, which usually appears as a single stripe. This cloud is very similar to the traces left by airplanes, so some people call it aircraft cloud. It generally indicates that there will be an earthquake in 2 weeks;
★ The second type is wavy or radial clouds, which generally means that there will be an earthquake after 1 week;
★ The third type is a vertical cloud like a tornado, or a vertical smoke column when there is no wind, indicating that there will be an earthquake three days later;
★ The fourth kind is a solid large or massive cloud, which usually appears during or before an earthquake.
Characteristics of seismic clouds
So, what kind of clouds are earthquake clouds? The biggest feature of this cloud is "strange", which is obviously different from ordinary clouds.
The blue sky sometimes leaves traces of airplanes. The common banded seismic clouds are very similar to the wake of an airplane, but thicker and fuller. Generally, it means that the epicenter is perpendicular to the cloud direction.
In addition, there is a radial seismic cloud. Several banded clouds intersect at the same time, just like a fan rib without a sector spreading in the air. The intersection of clouds is perpendicular to the ground, which is the epicenter.
In addition, there is a striped earthquake cloud that looks like two rows of human ribs. Judging the epicenter according to this cloud is more complicated.
Earthquake clouds usually appear in the morning and evening. The longer the earthquake cloud lasts, the closer the corresponding epicenter is. The longer the earthquake cloud is, the closer it is to the earthquake. The more scary the color of the earthquake cloud looks, the stronger the corresponding earthquake intensity.
At present, there are different opinions about the cause of earthquake clouds. Although each has its own reasons, it cannot fully explain this phenomenon before the earthquake, so it is still a mystery. The earthquake itself is a very complicated process. Therefore, it is best to use comprehensive methods to predict earthquakes.
Seismologists believe that when an earthquake is about to occur, a large amount of heat will be generated due to the accumulation of geothermal energy in the earthquake zone or the strong stress and friction on the rocks in the earthquake zone. This heat will escape from the surface of the earth, warming the air, generating an updraft and forming an "earthquake cloud" at high altitude. The tail end of the cloud points to the place where the earthquake occurred. Some people think that the inevitability of "earthquake cloud" is still lack of experimental data, which may also be a coincidence. How to be specific needs further study.
Earthquakes and winds, water and Long Mai.
Researcher Dong Bin, an expert in environmental landscape ecology at East-West International University: If you are a scholar, please come out and communicate. The so-called dragon is the image of a "mountain" and a shelter for wind and water to flow. Because of its high terrain and complex terrain, it was vividly called "dragon" by predecessors. Generally speaking, the place where wind and water flow is Long Mai, and the pulse refers not only to mountains, but also to water. As the saying goes, "the earth pulse". Geographically, "ground pulse" is translated as "ground pulse" and "water pulse" means "water pulse". These are all areas of geomantic omen, and geomantic omen is science, but there are too few people who know both science and environmental landscape ecology and geomantic omen. In the ancient East, it is understandable to understand Long Mai as a "mountain range", because we didn't realize that these phenomena are all natural feng shui phenomena that can be defined in scientific terms. This totem worship and awe of nature from the ancients is called "Long Mai", which is very vivid, powerful and unpredictable. This is China's description of "dragon" in ancient times, which is a quasi-material rhetoric description. In fact, the mountain movement in nature is really powerful. The word "dragon" is enough to describe it. Perhaps the strong earthquakes seen by ancient humans were as fierce and terrible as the carnivorous dinosaurs they had seen. Zuo Zhuan said that "the crimson suburb descends the dragon". The ancients must have seen this kind of creature, that's for sure, but later this kind of animal that only lived in China became extinct, so today we must protect the endangered precious creature. The existence of these creatures shows that ecology and human beings live in harmony, and people live in harmony with ecology. In recent days, because of academic research projects, I often communicate with our president Zheng Zhongying and talk about the realization of harmony between subject and object. We talked for hours. When talking about this problem, we can't deny the scientific point of view, and we must abandon superstitious things and mysterious points of view.
Take Beijing as an example. In the northwest of Beijing, Baiwang Mountain, Yuquan Mountain and Xishan Mountain are the "geographical Long Mai" of Beijing. If the "geographical Long Mai" here is to play a good role, it can play a role in preventing sandstorms from entering Beijing. It must be built and protected. As we all know, the northwest wind season in the north is very long, and it has a great influence on Beijing. The beautiful natural scenery in the northwest of Beijing has gathered many functions and most functions of an ecologically livable environment. It is also China's "humanistic Long Mai". The earliest university education in China began here. There are many institutions of higher learning, and they are all built in areas with beautiful natural environment and profound historical background. However, Asuwei landfill and Liulitun landfill in the northwest suburb of Beijing are built in the mountainous area of the northwest suburb of Beijing, which is a manifestation of the lack of awareness and overall planning of environmental landscape and environmental ecological management. As an educational institution mainly devoted to postgraduate education and higher academic research, the School of Environmental and Ecological Management of International Dongxi University plans to offer master's and doctoral degrees in this course.
As I said just now, in geography, "ground pulse" and "water pulse wave" are all feng shui fields, and these feng shui are all sciences, such as "water pulse wave", which is an electric and magnetic field formed by the impact of obstacles when groundwater flows. This wave force can penetrate the ground and reach the ground, causing the wall of the building to crack, so that plants will not flourish. It can also confuse the human brain waves with electromagnets and hinder the circadian rhythm. For example, long-term exposure to water pulse waves can lead to stroke, hypertension, heart and spleen hypertrophy and other diseases. For example, "sometimes we feel uncomfortable when we sleep, but we will get better when we go somewhere else." This is the intuitive expression caused by water pulse wave. This has been understood as "miasma" and "feng shui" in East Asia for thousands of years.
Is the earthquake related to the change of so-called "Long Mai" (including ground pulse and water pulse wave)? That's for sure. The earthquake triggered changes in Long Mai, such as "ground vein" and "water vein", that is, the movement of water vein, which also includes plate movement. The China Geological Survey recently held an analysis meeting on the Wenchuan earthquake and its induced secondary geological disasters to conduct a "consultation" on the disaster situation. It is preliminarily considered that the Wenchuan earthquake was caused by the Indian plate, and it was a thrust, dextral and compressional fault earthquake. Seismologists know that the earth experiences intermittent changes every ten years. There are relative movements on the boundaries of more than a dozen plates on the earth. In addition, the change of the sun has a peak every 1 1.2 years, that is, the relative number of sunspots is extremely large. This is also a celestial sports field, a feng shui field.
Scientists believe that the Indian plate subducted into the Asian plate, causing the rapid uplift of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The plateau material slowly flows eastward and squeezes eastward along the Longmenshan structural belt on the eastern edge of the plateau, encountering the tenacious resistance of the rigid block under the Sichuan Basin, resulting in the long-term accumulation of tectonic stress energy, and finally suddenly released in Beichuan-Yingxiu area of Longmenshan, and a rare Wenchuan earthquake broke out.
