Professor Huang Henian completed the world's first new laryngectomy collection resources Fudan University Medical Library Founded in 1927, it was originally named the National Shanghai Medical College Library. In 1959, it was renamed the Shanghai First Medical College Library. In May 1985, it was renamed the Shanghai Medical University Library. On April 27, 2000, Shanghai Medical University and Fudan University Merged and changed to the current name of Fudan University Medical Library.
Fudan Medical Library has a collection of more than 400,000 books and periodicals, focusing on Chinese and English books and periodicals in the fields of basic medicine, clinical medicine, pharmacy, preventive medicine, forensic medicine, and nursing. Campus network users can search and access the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBM), Chinese Academic Journal Online Publishing Database, Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database, Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform, Web of Knowledge, EMBase, Proquest, and OVID through the Fudan Medical Library homepage. There are more than 200 databases such as medical full-text database, EBSCO's Academic Search Elite, Elsevier's ScienceDirect, and Kluwer. Fudan Medical Library is the deputy director of the China Association of Colleges and Universities Medical Libraries, the East China Central Library of the National College Medical Library Resource Sharing Network, and the national medical literature retrieval center. The Honorary Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Teaching Research Association are the main members of CALIS Medical Center. Academic Journal "Journal of Fudan University (Medical Edition)": a comprehensive medical and health academic core journal published to the public at home and abroad under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and sponsored by Fudan University. Its predecessor was "Journal of Shanghai Medical University", which was founded in June 1956. It mainly publishes original research papers in the fields of basic medicine, clinical medicine, pharmacy, preventive medicine and other fields.
"Chinese Journal of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology": a national professional academic journal under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and sponsored by the Eye and Otolaryngology Hospital of Fudan University.
