Used for heat phlegm stagnation, cough and asthma, yellow and thick phlegm. It is used together with heat-clearing and phlegm-resolving drugs such as Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, Almond and Pinellia ternata, such as Qingqi Huatan Pill of Fang Yi Hua Wang.
