The stone not only shows the tiger image in Shi Gandang, but also plays up the mystery by choosing the date of carving and the time of erecting the stone. Lu Ban Jing, which was widely circulated in the old days, preached these things: whoever chisels Shi Gandang must choose Chen Jia, Chen Bing, Chen Xu, Chen Geng, Ren Chen, Jia Yin, Bing Yin, Xu Yin, Geng Yin and Ren Yin to spend the winter solstice, and these ten days are Dragon and Tiger Days, which can be well used. On New Year's Eve, three pieces of raw meat were offered, and Xinzheng Yin Shi stood at the door, not to be seen by outsiders. Where there is a roadway that can be flushed, use this Shi Gandang.
The zodiac is dragon and tiger, so it is called "Dragon and Tiger Day". Xinzheng is the first day of the new year. In ancient times, the lunar month of the summer calendar was the first month, which was the year of the tiger. "Yin Shi standing in front of the door" still belongs to the tiger.
As for "Mount Tai" and "Shi Gandang", there are two contents. First, Mount Tai is towering and the five mountains are the only ones. In ancient times, it was said that it was a mountain reaching to the earth, and emperors from Jia Wei and Sihai also went to worship Zen. Wouldn't Shi Gandang be more invincible if it was advertised as Mount Tai? Second, flaunting Mount Tai provides a mountain perspective, from which we can see Shi Gandang's "stone", and the perspective is very good. Why not choose the East China Sea Yellow River, or the nine-day hero, and choose the word "Taishan" to write banners? Shi Zishan came out. This "mountain" has more to do with that "stone" In this respect, the animism of primitive ancestors and the fetish worship of ancient people can be used as footnotes. From rough stone tools to fine stone tools, stone tools have made primitive people's ability to resist nature grow. The stone became a spiritual thing. Reflected in myths and legends, the five-color stone is refined by the mother of heaven, and the sea-repairing jingwei buries the East China Sea with wooden stones. The worship of stones gave birth to the custom of burying stones in Shi Gandang and towns. In the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Yu Xin wrote "The Ode to a Small Country": "The town houses bury stones." Zong Yi's Chronicle of Jingchu: "At dusk in December, we dug four corners of the house and buried a big stone for the town house." The stone became a magical spirit. As for Shi Gandang, because of the stone, there was a famous "General Shi", whose surname was "Shi", because it was originally a stone.
Shi Gandang was regarded as a god, and his duties expanded from defending houses. Notes of Tea Room records the local customs of Qilu in Qing Dynasty, and there is a stone carving of "Mount Tai Shi Gandang" in the alley. It is said that it will treat others at dusk, so "General Shi" is also called "Dr. Shi". Another legend is that during the reign of Emperor Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, xuwen county and Magistrate of a County in Guangdong Province died shortly after their arrival, and several successive presidents also died. Huang came to his post and asked Mr. Feng Shui to have a look. He said that the pagoda tower shadow fell on the seat of the magistrate of a county, and all his predecessors died because of the pressure of the tower shadow. The stone tablet of "Taishan Shi Gandang" is carved in Huang Zhi County, standing in front of the county yamen, with the shadow of the watchtower. If we say that "people's front door is suitable for the running of lanes and bridges" and Shi Gandang is a kind of face-to-face resistance, then Huang made Shi Gandang resist the tall tower shadow, and Shi Gandang's function developed from plane to three-dimensional.
Shi Gandang was nicknamed "Mount Tai" and even called the father of the gods in Mount Tai. There is a Bi Xia offering on Mount Tai, dedicated to Bi Xia Yuan Jun, the Lord of Mount Tai, who is also known as the mother of Mount Tai. About the origin of Bi Xia Yuan Jun, some say that she is the younger sister of the Jade Emperor, and some say that she is the daughter of Shi Gandang, a poor farmer. She is kind-hearted and often helps a lonely old lady when she goes up the mountain to cut firewood. The old lady said that she was a fairy and asked her to dig the wooden fish buried by Chai Wang under the largest pine tree in Taishan, and buried an embroidered shoe three feet under the wooden fish. The Jade Emperor wanted to choose the earliest of the gods and make him the Lord of Mount Tai. Chai Wang proved her qualification with the wooden fish buried under the tree, while Shi Gandang's daughter defeated Chai Wang with embroidered shoes buried under the wooden fish and was named Bi Xia Yuan Jun. Although this legend tells the story of Bi Xia and Yuan Jun, they and Shi Gandang are both "father and daughter", and their relationship is like a rising tide lifts all boats-Yuan Jun of Bi Xia is as high as Mount Tai, and a rising tide lifts all boats, which embodies the magic of Shi Gandang.
