A Taoist friend in Shangqing told me that he spread his knowledge in Longhu Mountain, and Maoshan Mountain has not yet been developed.

This statement is not accurate.

Taoism is an important part of China traditional culture. Taoism takes Taoism as its highest belief and pursues the highest realm of Taoism, forming its unique religious theory and practice system. Taoism advocates self-cultivation, purity and inaction, returning to nature, and emphasizes the harmony between man and nature, man and man, and body and mind. Taoism pays attention to internal cultivation and external cultivation. Internal cultivation refers to the cultivation of mind, while external cultivation refers to the cultivation of body. Taoism believes that through internal cultivation and external cultivation, immortality can be achieved.

Longhu Mountain, the birthplace of Taoist orthodoxy, was founded by Zhang Daoling and his descendants and gradually developed into one of the two major religious groups in the Song Dynasty. Maoshan School is one of the three major schools in Fu You (Shangqing School, Lingbao School and Louguan School), which was established on the basis of Longhu School, which was founded in Tao Hongjing, Nanliang.

So there is no spread of Longhu Mountain, and there is no underdevelopment of Maoshan Mountain.
