Yang Chaoguan's Qianlong's Linxian Annals
Yang Chaoguan was transferred to Linxian County in the 15th year of Qianlong. In his second year in office, under the busy situation of "pretending to be pregnant with a case, but reluctant to do nothing" and "looking for a car and a pen after work", he completed the compilation of Lin County Records. With the talent of poets and playwrights and the political experience of many local officials, the county annals compiled by Yang Chaoguan are really remarkable. The contents of this chronicle are as follows: the first volume of maps, examples, the first volume of territory, the second volume of construction, the third volume of mountains and rivers, the fifth volume of customs, the sixth volume of taxes, the seventh volume of elections, the eighth volume of people, and the last volume of old records. The records about the climate, topography, soil quality, people's production and life in Linxian County are detailed and realistic. Among them, there are many precious materials in the mountains and rivers, which have played an indispensable role in prospering Linxian tourism and accurately using the historical names of scenic spots. Many famous scenic spots have been covered by deep mountains, and many historical legends have gradually been forgotten, waiting for us to discover. In Tian Jia Yue Ling, the time of farming is also recorded in detail. In the food part, it shows that the poor did not have enough to eat at that time, and the rich were full and warm: "Lin Chou has three meals a day, the rich have four meals (such as one meal in the afternoon), the poor have two meals (one meal in the afternoon), the rich eat meat every few days, and the poor eat vegetables every few days." However, at that time, landlords also ate dried millet rice noodle soup at noon, while poor people ate persimmon bran or drank mixed noodle soup. In terms of production and skills, Linxian people were passive and clumsy at that time, and women "could spin cotton into thread, but could not weave cloth". Men, on the other hand, are "carefree in human nature, quiet in the mountains, unhappy for officials, love their homeland and can't drive far." Even those who do small business in the county are mostly "Sanjin people". Compared with more than 1000 undergraduates who were admitted to Linxian every year in 2006, 100,000 troops went out to Taihang, which was a little worse than Linzhou businessmen who broke into the world. What is enviable is the natural ecological environment. We don't imagine that more than 200 years ago, Linxian was once a paradise for birds and animals. This is recorded in the local scrolls of birds and beasts. What's even more amazing is that there have been tigers in Linxian County, and there have been jy-style tigers-fighting heroes in Li Kui. Killing four tigers is not inferior to Yinglin: "Some people in Panshan Mountain are good at fighting tigers, sewing clothes with old soles, crowns like armor, royal teeth melons, short sleeves, waiting for tigers, tigers flapping their bellies ... peeling off their skins and throwing them into the city. Gan Long's "Lin County Records" has added a lot of wonderful content, which is incomparable in terms of historical document value and readability. " The evaluation of Henan Literature is: "It is full of local flavor ... just like a small agricultural book ... it is the most precious information in local chronicles and rarely seen in other local chronicles. "Rebuilding Forest County Records gave it a higher evaluation.
