Contemporary economics was born in the United States, so looking at the Southern Song Dynasty from the perspective of Americans is by no means a poor and weak society, but a rare model of prosperity in world history. Foreigners naturally don't care about the self-esteem of the literati in the Southern Song Dynasty, so "weak dynasty" is not a thing in their social and economic concept. In the concept of economics, the people's livelihood in the Southern Song Dynasty is definitely a "great event to cherish spring" in Qiantang's historical heritage: "local security" is also the peace that the people need. "In Song Xiaozong Palace, Emperor Gaozong lived in Deshou, Guangzong lived in Qing Palace and Ningzong lived in Pingyang House. The Song people concluded: "God knows wealth, and the birthday is always in Ding Nian." In Li Ling's reply to Su Wu, Li Ling once said that "Ding Nian went home with his head down", in which "Ding Nian" also refers to the young Ding Sheng, so the phenomenon of "Ding Nian" in the precious spring period is undoubtedly a great event! The "partial security" in the Southern Song Dynasty was naturally relative to the Northern Expedition, which was then called "Restoration". ""the emperor dynasty has a minister of recovery and no king of recovery; Filial piety has a king and no ministers. " This is the most pertinent conclusion that later generations are partial to the Southern Song Dynasty, so Song Xiaozong's "restoration ambition" in Xichun Dynasty has also been added with a layer of tragedy. The failure of Song Xiaozong's Northern Expedition was very tragic, because there were no ministers in the Northern Expedition. Without the Northern Expedition, improving people's livelihood is also an important task for the monarch. Therefore, Song Xiaozong and Zhao Shen actively rectify the bureaucracy, eliminate redundant officials and punish corruption, thus forming a situation of "clean administration", which is undoubtedly the blessing of the people, and "partial security" has become a bitter word that the people need. When such a peaceful and prosperous time corresponds to "Ding Nian, whose birthday is of great value to the whole world", it is no wonder that the literati in the Song Dynasty are also indignant for Song Xiaozong: they have to compromise themselves and beg for peace, but they cannot fulfill their filial ambition. What a pity! Lin Sheng, the author of Lin 'an Mansion, lives in Song Xiaozong. When will the singing and dancing outside the West Lake in Castle Peak House stop? In fact, it is a criticism of Song Gaozong's "no king can recover": he does not want to recover the lost land in the Central Plains, but only wants peace, surrenders to the outside world, and cruelly persecutes Yue Fei and other patriots at home. Naturally, it was not only Lin Sheng, but also Xin You 'an who was criticized by the literati in the Southern Song Dynasty. "I don't see you, Yuhuan Feiyan is dusty, and leisure is the most bitter." This poem "Late Spring Ci" was written by Xin Qiji in the sixth year of Xichun (1 179). Xin Qiji crossed the Huaihe River in 1 162, and after returning to the Southern Song Dynasty, his anti-gold proposition for 17 years has not been adopted by the court, so he shouted "leisure is the most bitter". Fortunately, in the first year of Longxing (1 163), the "Longxing Northern Expedition" began, and Xin Qiji's attack was responded. Longxing Northern Expedition, also known as Longxing Restoration, ended with "Longxing Peace Talks", which is a realistic portrayal of "no restoration of ministers" in this period. Patriots such as Xin Qiji can never defeat the lords and powers of the imperial court. The rule of "Gan Chun" was born under the background of the failure of the Northern Expedition. At that time, the folk customs were quiet, the family business was sufficient, and cattle and horses were everywhere. Scholars in the southern song dynasty attacked "partiality" and the literary pageantry in the song dynasty, which was originally like this. Scholars in the Southern Song Dynasty criticized the anxiety of partiality, that is, getting rid of clothes and wine and reluctantly marrying happiness. There is a record in "Dream of Liang Lu": "Although people in mean streets have to take off their clothes and wine, they are reluctant to marry happiness and refuse to waste their time." This is a kind of world sentiment to drown one's sorrows by drinking. Attacking bias and criticizing the prosperous literary world; Relieve one's sorrows by drinking, but behind it is a kind of prosperity and peace brought by eccentricity, which is a world situation that makes scholars more entangled! We often say that Chinese studies flourished during the Republic of China, and it was in this helpless situation that the literati at that time "worried about the country and the people". In the Biography of Flowers on the Sea in the Qing Dynasty, it was said that scholars "put aside state affairs and eat flowers and drink all day". Although this book derived the word "literati", its description completely lost the historical criterion! Song and Jin were evenly matched under the Shaoxing peace talks, which created the grand image of "a building outside the building". In history, "the green hills and towers outside the mountains get the moon first" is the reason of the eccentricity under the Shaoxing peace talks, but such eccentricity is actually a helpless move. Shaoxing peace talks are controversial, and economists and historians have different views. Before the peace talks, Song and Jin were evenly matched and fought for many years. Apart from constantly consuming war materials, it did no good to both sides. During the war, Xu Jin knew that the strength of the Southern Song Dynasty was still very strong, and Song Gaozong also knew that it was useless for him to continue fighting like this, so "partial peace" was actually a kind of long-term stability brought about by both Song and Jin Dynasties. The Legacy of Qiantang describes various social scenes and anecdotes around Lin 'an City. Obviously, this kind of atmosphere cannot be formed under the background of war, and the prosperity of "the building outside the building" cannot be separated from this extreme in essence. "Close" also means that this balance will not be easily broken. Isn't this the result of "playing out" by Yue Fei and others? In such a balance, both Song and Jin are in such a state. Naturally, Song Gaozong did not agree to let the "hawks" break this balance again, which led to the cruel persecution of domestic patriots. From the point of view of Han Shizhong and other generals who resisted gold, the measures taken at that time were really aimed at destruction and discussion, and what Song Gaozong wanted was to keep this balance. Scholars may have overlooked that "men plow and women weave" is the people's livelihood that truly belongs to the people. Aside from these historical backgrounds, look at the "castle peak building outside the mountain", no wonder future generations yearn for the scene of "building outside the building"! If we pay too much attention to various historical backgrounds, today's Shanghai Bund and Guangzhou Shamian are "products of humiliating times", then should we all stay away from them? The same is true of "outside the building" Things are good, but the history that created them is flawed.
