Jinsha site dates from 3200 to 2600 years ago; Sanxingdui's statement in Zuo Zhuan is that Houyi can be divided into four periods. The first period is about 5,000 to 4,000 years ago, belonging to the end of Neolithic Age in China. The second to fourth periods, from 2070 BC to 1046 BC, that is, from 4000 to 3000 years ago, belonged to the slaves of Xia and Shang Dynasties in ancient China.

The representative cultural relics of Jinsha Site mainly include the fish pattern gold belt of Shang and Zhou Dynasties, the Dajin mask of Shang and Zhou Dynasties, and the jade cong of the four festivals of Shang and Zhou Dynasties. The representative cultural relics of Sanxingdui site include human, animal and bird statues, bronze vertical masks, No.1 large bronze sacred tree, bronze statues and bronze bird heads.
