Library Rules 1. The library is a place where books are collected. Managers should maintain and maintain books seriously and responsibly to provide quality services to teachers and students. 2. Library managers should organize and store books in accordance with the "Chinese Library Method" so that all books should be recorded in the accounts and the accounts should be consistent. 3. The total number of literary books and periodicals cannot exceed two. The borrowing period is one month. Borrowing will be stopped for those who do not return it after the expiration date. 4. Students can borrow books once a week, one book at a time. The borrowing period is two weeks. If the loan is not returned at the end of the period, the borrowing will be stopped. 5. Take good care of books. It is strictly forbidden to graffiti or tear pages in the books, and you cannot lend them to others. Violators will be fined depending on the severity of the case. Librarian safety work responsibilities: 1. If an accident occurs, it must be handled promptly according to relevant plans and reported to the school. Compensation regulations for damaged or lost books 1. Borrowers must take good care of the borrowed books and keep them properly. If they are damaged or lost, they must compensate according to the regulations. 2. Borrowers must check carefully when borrowing a book. If they find that the book is dirty or missing pages, they should report it to the staff within the same day. Otherwise, the borrower is responsible. 3. If you make circles, marks, annotations, or cause defacement or loose pages in books and periodicals, but the content of the original book is still intact and the pictures and texts are clear, and the defacement is less than 5 pages, the original book price will be compensated; if 5 pages are defaced, For the above cases, compensation will be 3-5 times the original book price. 4. Those who severely damage books and periodicals (referring to serious alteration, cutting, tearing, dismantling, and loss of value for processing and repair) must pay compensation with books and periodicals of the same edition, and the library will take back the original books and periodicals, and pay a processing fee of 2 yuan per volume. 5. After paying compensation for lost books and periodicals, if the original books and periodicals are found and are not damaged upon inspection, refunds can be made with receipts within one month from the date of payment of compensation. 6. Those who have damaged or lost books and periodicals and still do not come to complete the formalities despite repeated notices will be subject to a fine for overdue borrowing in addition to compensation according to the above provisions. 7. Any damage or loss of books and periodicals caused by force majeure will be exempted from compensation upon application by the student and approval by the school leadership. Book cancellation work specifications 1. Document cancellation is an important task related to changes in the fixed assets of our library. All documents and materials that have been eliminated from the collection must go through cancellation procedures. For documents and materials that have been collected informally, the cancellation procedures can be simplified. 2. Damaged books If the entire book is seriously damaged or has 10 pages missing, you may be asked to cancel it. Valuable books, multi-volume books, serial publications, rare books, thread-bound volumes, ancient books, etc. will not be cancelled. 3. All books that are transferred out, exchanged or sold at a discount must be approved by the principal. Compensation, lost or damaged books will be canceled once a month. 4. To cancel a book, a cancellation form should be filled in as required, signed by the person handling it, and reported to the principal for approval. It should be canceled in the database and financial accounts at the same time. 5. The cancellation form is part of the library’s business files and should be properly kept. 6. After all books of a kind are canceled, the empty registration number is not allowed to be used to add new books. When the newly added books are completely consistent with the canceled extinct books, the registration number must be managed again.
