Shan Hai Jing, The Journey to the West and Biography of Immortals.
Ancient myths and romances, short stories in the vernacular of a strange studio, strange tales from a strange studio
There is a lack of special mythological works in Chinese ancient books, and mythical materials are scattered in various ancient books, among which Shan Hai Jing and Chu Ci are the most mythical materials. The ancient books such as Tian Wen, Huai Nan Zi, Zuo Zhuan, Guoyu, Mozi and Zhuangzi in the pre-Qin period also contained some scattered mythological materials, while the weft books in the Han Dynasty retained many myths consciously processed by Chinese and Confucianism.
