What problems did "Tufuzi" help solve when excavating Mawangdui ancient tomb?

From 1972 to 1974, our archaeologists excavated Mawangdui Han Tomb for three years. In this ancient tomb, not only the lightest plain gauze clothes in the world were unearthed, but also a series of important cultural relics such as precious jade seals, exquisite bronze dings, lacquerware and ritual vessels were unearthed. However, when the bronze seal of the tomb owner and prime minister Li Cang was discovered,

Before revealing this secret, Bian Xiao should help you understand what a "native master" is. Tufuzi is a modern nickname for grave robbers. In fact, as early as before liberation in Changsha, it was a chore, doing things, digging holes and selling soil.

People in Changsha like to make a fire with charcoal. When burning charcoal, putting yellow mud on it can prolong the burning time of charcoal. Therefore, there is a great demand for yellow mud, but Changsha does not produce yellow mud, so it needs to be dug in the tombs of the Tang and Song Dynasties (the rich tomb owners brought yellow mud from other places as waterproof tomb sealing soil), and the yellow mud earned only a small part, but when the landowners dug yellow mud, they were surprised.

After all, it is unnatural to dig an ancient tomb. In the Republic of China, it was just for living. After liberation, some grave-robbing masters were consciously "wooed" by the archaeological team and became official employees of the national archaeological team, contributing to the protective excavation of tombs and the disclosure of precious cultural relics in ancient tombs.

The following small series talks about three players who used to be "local tyrants". They really played a key role in the excavation of Mawangdui ancient tomb:

1, Mr. Wang is light-handed and long-armed.

Wang is a big man, with a height of 185 cm. Before joining the archaeological team, he was definitely an exception in the team of Tufuzi, and his figure was generally thin. Why do you say that? Because the soil master wants to drill stolen holes, the thin soil master has an advantage in drilling stolen holes, but this is not the case with cultural relics. The coffins of the ancients were all tall and big, and Wang Dagong's arms were long and had advantages.

After Mawangdui opened the coffin, the captain of the archaeological team called him whenever he encountered cultural relics that were difficult to take away. King Man's hands are not big, but his fingers are lighter than those of the embroidered mother. He really made a great contribution when he brought some fragile cultural relics into the coffin.

2. Senior team members judged correctly and screened mud for printing.

Mawangdui Tomb is also called Licang Family Tomb. Li Cang was the Prime Minister of Changsha, but his tomb was stolen. In the face of almost empty tombs, Gao is experienced because he was a landlord. He glanced at the open coffin and said, "Touch the mud in the coffin!" " "

Due to the leakage of rain from the top of the tomb, perishables such as corpses and silk and cotton products in the coffin rotted, and black mud was deposited at the bottom of the coffin after a slap. After exploring these smelly black mud, archaeologists finally found two precious seals: "Li Cang" and "Hou Yin".

Looking up at the crack under the coffin. He suggested that all the mud under the coffin floor should be transported back to the provincial museum for screening. Sure enough, in the mud, he found the third bronze seal of Changsha Prime Minister Gui Button.

Team Zhao fished out Mrs Xin Zhui's wet corpse with five boards.

After Mrs Xin Zhui's wet corpse was found in the coffin, it needs to be taken out as quickly as possible and then transported to the provincial museum. The longer the time, the easier it is for the wet corpse to be eroded by bacteria and rot and deteriorate.

However, how to "please" the wet body completely from the coffin can make the experts of the archaeological team make a mistake.

But no matter how hard it is, it is hard to beat team member Zhao, who used to be a landowner and is known as a "multi-star". He had five boards found and then turned the coffin sideways. Mrs Xin Zhui left the bottom of the coffin under her own weight. Team member Zhao took the opportunity to put five boards on Mrs. Xin Zhui's head, back, waist and legs, and then the archaeologists reset the coffin, and ten people pushed together. Everybody carry the board and Mrs. Xin Zhui.

The ruler is good, but the inch is short. Only in New China can we really make the best use of it. Considering that we live in modern times, we should really feel very happy!
