Shaanxi Police Vocational College is a full-time higher vocational college organized by Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It mainly implements higher vocational education of public security and justice, and at the same time, as an important training base for public security and judicial organs in the province, it undertakes relevant training tasks. The college is headed by the provincial public security department and guided by the provincial education department.
The school was developed on the basis of the training course for judicial cadres in Shaanxi Province held in June 1953. 1June, 1992, Shaanxi Institute of Political Science and Law Management was established with the approval of the State Education Commission, and adult junior college education was formally held. In April 2003, Shaanxi Police Vocational College was established with the approval of Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, and was put on record by the Ministry of Education in April 2004.
As of March 2023, the college has three campuses, Chanba, Yanta and Qindou, covering an area of 543.87 mu, offering 6 public security majors and 4 non-public security majors; There are 39 faculty members1person and 293 full-time teachers; There are 5 160 students in school.

From April 2065438 to April 2009, the official website of the College showed that the library has accumulated more than 328,000 copies of all kinds of paper books, and there are four collections in the collection: the whole book, the online ancient books and the precious documents. There are 237,000 kinds of e-books, and 2.65 million kinds of books can be read in the reading show knowledge base.
