How to Evaluate Laozi's Tao Te Ching
Tao Te Ching is a classic that guides mankind to the ultimate bright future. Its content is all-encompassing, rigorous and mutual interpretation. Any understanding and evaluation that deviates from "explaining Tao by Tao" will inevitably be biased. I have a deep understanding in Chapter 37, "Virtue is not virtue, but virtue; Virtue without virtue is virtue without virtue. Suntech does things without thinking; Shade is thoughtful. Ren Shang did not consider this; Shangyi has thought it over. "If you don't respond to the gift, you will throw it away. The "no virtue" here refers to the effect of failing to achieve morality, which is very different from the "no virtue" and "no virtue" of modern people. What does "sense" mean? Why can't people be interested in "throwing away"? In my humble opinion, "rites" are just like the rules and regulations of all walks of life, and the teachings in various formal religious sects are all good and admonished. Only when people start from "ritual" and abandon it, from feeling restraint to Xiu De's conscious behavior, can they become "saints". In this way, people's belief in the supreme "God" has changed from unconscious to conscious, thus getting rid of the suspicion of secular bribery.
