Linhai museum
Linhai Museum is a comprehensive museum of historical relics. Its predecessor was the Cultural Relics Management Committee of Taizhou Special Zone, which was established in March of 195 1. The museum has more than 20,000 pieces of various cultural relics (including first-class cultural relics 109 pieces and second-class cultural relics of more than 400 pieces) and more than 654.38 million ancient books.
The museum is located on the shore of the East Lake, covering an area of 3,500 square meters, with an exhibition hall area of 1000 square meters, a cultural relics warehouse of 265 square meters, an office management room of more than 300 square meters and a staff of 15 people. 1984, the museum cleaned up and registered all the cultural relics, established account books, made the family background clear and the accounts consistent, improved the systems of security, management and warehousing, and defined the post responsibilities of each department.
