What are the disasters in Shaoxing history?

With the passing of typhoons again and again in Shaoxing, we seem to think that Shaoxing is a land of feng shui. Actually, we often hear that. If we ignore natural disasters because of this, maybe one day we will suffer a devastating disaster. Some people may say, are you too worried? But I have never been optimistic. Because there are many people in Shaoxing, it is easy to have careless thoughts. Xu Wei once said a passage when compiling "Wanli Huiji County Records", so I might as well quote it here. He said: if a leader leads a city and knows what to do before the disaster, he will be almost a thief of floods and droughts, not enough to help the people, but more and more households. "and" curse, the way to avoid disaster, born with responsibility. "There are many natural disasters in Shaoxing in history. Earthquakes, floods, droughts and tides have all happened, and some are still devastating. I have seen the history of 25 years, and there are many records of natural disasters in Shaoxing. We have heard the detailed story of "Dayu controlling water", which tells that there was a flood in Shaoxing four or five thousand years ago. At that time, there was a splendid Hemudu culture on this land, which was later flooded. Of course, this is recorded in archaeological discoveries and other books. According to the Twenty-Five History, the earliest recorded disaster in Shaoxing was in the thirty-sixth year of the week (484 BC), when the floods and droughts in Yue were not coordinated and there was a great famine. The most disasters were recorded in Song, Ming and Qing dynasties. Only the Chronicles of Disasters in Shaoxing recorded 13 times in Song Dynasty, 23 times in Ming Dynasty and 23 times in Qing Dynasty. Of course, there are also omissions in Shaoxing city records, such as the drought in the 21st year of Tang Zhenyuan (805). According to "Five Elements Records of the New Tang Dynasty", in the summer of the 21st year of Zhenyuan (that is, the year of Yongzhenyuan), Yuezhou Jinghu was exhausted. "At that time, there was no harvest of rice in Yuezhou, and there were hungry people everywhere. Another example is that in the first year of Longxing in Song Xiaozong (1 163), there were heavy rains in Yin Shan and Huiji. In the eighth year of Xichun (1 18 1), floods occurred in Shaoxing and other places, and refugees were everywhere. At that time, all the roots of wild vegetables in Shaoxing were used up. People are naked, pale, helping the old and carrying the young, and the call sign is euphemistic. " After the founding of New China, natural disasters in Shaoxing are also very frequent. By 1990, there were 26 major natural disasters in Shaoxing. For example, in July 1990, Shaoxing experienced drought first and then rain, resulting in economic losses of 594 million yuan.

Judging from these natural disasters, Shaoxing is not the so-called land of feng shui. In fact, natural disasters occur frequently. If we ignore them, we will be destroyed one day. This is by no means a bluff. Although in recent years, the relevant departments have paid more attention to it, but don't be confused by the "land of feng shui". What is worrying is that our land resources are very short, and a lot of land is still in a barren state. Although grain can be adjusted now, people will be worried once there is a famine!
