2. Chinese medicine treatment
<1> Wind evil attacking collaterals: suddenly, the mouth and eyes are skewed, the facial sensation is abnormal, or insects and ants feel walking, or facial muscles are slack and numb, accompanied by headache, stuffy nose, uncomfortable neck, or ear swelling, burning face, floating pulse and thin white or yellow fur.
Treatment: dispel pathogenic wind, relieve exterior syndrome and dredge collaterals.
Prescription: 6 grams of Rhizoma Typhonii, 3 grams of Scorpio, and 0/2 grams of Bombyx Batryticatus/KLOC-.
9 grams of Ramulus Cinnamomi, 3 grams of Asari, 9 grams of Saposhnikovia divaricata and 3 slices of ginger are added to patients with wind-cold syndrome; Honeysuckle 12g, forsythia suspensa 12g and cassia twig 9g can be added for patients with wind-heat syndrome.
< 2 > endogenous movement of liver wind: sudden onset, skewed mouth and eyes, flushed face, swelling and pain in ears, numbness in limbs, top-heavy, dizzy, reddish tongue, yellow or less dry fur and strong pulse.
Treatment: calming the liver, calming the wind and relieving spasm.
Prescription: Gastrodia elata 24g, Uncaria rhynchophylla 15g, Mulberry Leaf 12g, Chrysanthemum 12g, Scorpio 3g, Bombyx Batryticatus 12g and Rhizoma Typhonii 6g.
Deficiency of both qi and blood: mouth and eyes are skewed, facial muscles are slack, eyelids are weak, people are too lazy to talk, the tongue is tender, the coating is thin and white, and the pulse is weak.
Treatment: Yiqi Yangxue, Huoxue Tongluo.
Prescription: Radix Astragali 50g, Radix Angelicae Sinensis 30g, Radix Paeoniae Rubra 10g, Rhizoma Chuanxiong 6g, Semen Persicae 6g, Flos Carthami 6g, Scorpio 3g, Lumbricus 10g, Bombyx Batryticatus 10g.
〈4〉 Wind phlegm blocking collaterals: mouth and eyes are skewed, facial muscles are numb, language is unfavorable, there is phlegm in the throat, the tongue feels stiff, sometimes drooling, the tongue coating is white and greasy, and the pulse is slippery or slow.
Treatment: resolving phlegm, expelling wind and dredging collaterals.
Prescription: Radix Puerariae 15g, Ramulus Cinnamomi 6g, Radix Paeoniae Alba 12g, 3 centipedes, Bombyx Batryticatus 12g, Rhizoma Chuanxiong 6g, Notopterygii Rhizoma 10g, Radix Gentianae Macrophyllae 10g and Radix Saposhnikoviae 6g.
