Dragon's Calligraphy Style

The calligraphy of the dragon is as follows: there are three main ways to write the word "dragon" in cursive. Although the calligraphy capitals of past dynasties were all written on a dragon and a phoenix, they could not be separated from these three ways.

First, the first writing method originated from Wang Xizhi.

This writing method has been used in Seventeen Posts in Xizhi, Getting the First Foot in Wang Jin's Xizhi and Long Tie Bao in Wang Jin's Xizhi, and has been pushed to the extreme by Sun and Huai Su in later generations.

Second, the second writing is represented by Zhao Mengfu.

Such as "Yuan Zhao Mengfu Tianguanshan Poetry Post", many people wrote:

Third, the third writing style comes from Huang Daozhou, a calligrapher in the Ming Dynasty.

For example, he wrote in "Poems of Wujiang in Zhou Ji, Daozhou, Huang Ming" and "Poems of Zishu in Daozhou, Huang Ming":

Later, this writing method has undergone new changes. For example, Sha Menghai, a modern calligrapher, wrote the upper left part first, then turned to the right part, and then went back to write the word "Moon" in the lower left part. This is unexpected and refreshing, but it was inspired by the zodiac.

Fourth, the cursive script of "dragon" written by calligraphers of past dynasties, no matter how to write it, can not be separated from the above three basic forms.

If you want to write the dragon, you can use running script or cursive script. Running script gives people a relaxed and lively feeling. Cursive writing gives people a feeling of unrestrained. The simplified writing method of the new hard pen running script of the dragon character is the cursive writing method of the dragon character Zhong Qi Liu Jiang hard pen, and the signature writing method of the dragon character.
