The sincerity of a great doctor comes from the first volume of Sun Simiao's book Bei in the Tang Dynasty. This is a very important medical ethics document, which is widely circulated and has far-reaching influence.
"Great Doctor Sincerity" discusses two issues related to medical ethics: the first is diligence, that is, doctors are required to have superb medical skills, practicing medicine is the "most subtle thing", and medical students must "learn from others and be diligent and tireless".
The second is sincerity, that is, doctors are required to have noble moral cultivation, empathize with each other's suffering, and be compassionate, and then swear to "generally save the suffering of the soul", instead of "get quick success and instant benefit, take credit" or "manage money by their own strengths"
