(a) newspapers, magazines, books and teaching materials;
(two) all kinds of documents, meetings, activities, notices, notices, official seals, certificates, securities, slogans, publicity windows, banners, awards, honorary plaques, etc. ;
(three) all kinds of place names, including physical geography, administrative divisions, names of residential areas, and the names of stations, stations, ports and fields with geographical names used by various professional departments;
(4) Commodity names, commodity packages, trademarks and advertisements;
(5) Names and plaques of organs, organizations, enterprises, institutions and individual industrial and commercial households;
(six) the name of the film and television, the name of the production unit, and the subtitles;
(7) Chinese character information processing by electronic computer. Article 4 Chinese characters used in society must be standardized. Simplified characters and all kinds of self-made characters in the second Chinese character simplification scheme (draft) that are simplified, eliminated variant characters and abolished shall not be used. Article 5 Chinese characters used in society shall follow the following standards:
(1) The printing of commonly used glyphs shall be based on the List of Commonly Used Characters in Modern Chinese jointly published by the State Language Commission and the Press and Publication Administration in March 1988.
(2) Simplified Chinese characters shall be subject to the Summary of Simplified Chinese Characters, which was republished with the approval of the State Council in 1986+00.
(3) The selection of variant characters shall be based on the first batch of variant characters jointly issued by the Ministry of Culture and the Language and Character Reform Commission of China in February 1955.
(4) In principle, standardized Chinese characters should be used in the names, packages and advertisements of export commodities. If it is really necessary to use traditional Chinese characters, it must be reported to the Municipal Language and Literature Working Committee for approval.
(5) Advocating horizontal writing. Horizontal payment, from left to right, from top to bottom; Vertical payment, from top to bottom, from right to left.
(6) The use of Chinese Pinyin requires standard pronunciation of Putonghua, accurate spelling, correct letter writing and word segmentation. When the name and address of the enterprise appear in commodity packaging and advertisements, and the book title, author and publisher's name are printed on the book cover, Chinese characters should be used, or both Chinese characters and Hanyu Pinyin should be used, and Hanyu Pinyin or other pinyin characters should not be used alone.
(seven) when using place names, the standard place names approved by governments at all levels shall prevail. The Chinese translation of minority language names and foreign names should be standardized according to the relevant provisions formulated by the Geographical Names Committee of China.
(eight) the name of the unit of measurement shall be subject to the Order of the State Council on the Unified Implementation of Legal Units of Measurement (Guo Fa (1984) No.28). Article 6 Anyone who does not conform to the social norms of Chinese characters should be corrected. If it is difficult to change for a while, a standard word plaque must be hung separately to block the irregular words and correct them when decorating. Article 7 The Municipal Language and Literature Working Committee is responsible for the supervision and management of Chinese characters used in society in the whole city, and regularly organizes relevant departments to inspect Chinese characters used in society. The units and individuals that have great influence but have not been corrected in time shall be ordered to make corrections within a time limit in informed criticism. The district and county language and writing committees are responsible for the management of social Chinese characters in their respective jurisdictions. Eighth film and television production departments should establish a review system. Movies and TV plays with irregular words are not allowed. Ninth organs, organizations, enterprises and institutions newly renovated plaque should be written in standardized Chinese characters. Tenth advertising business units, to establish and improve the word audit system, designated audit, to prevent the emergence of non-standard words.
If the advertising and trademark business unit of this Municipality entrusts foreign or overseas units and individuals to design and produce advertisements, trademarks and signboards that use nonstandard Chinese characters, the designers and producers of this Municipality shall be responsible units or persons who use nonstandard Chinese characters. Eleventh calligraphy inscriptions and inscriptions used in newspapers, places of interest, buildings, shops and other places advocate the use of standardized Chinese characters. Article 12 The administrative department for industry and commerce shall, when handling the examination and approval of enterprise registration and trademark and advertisement registration, examine the words used in the approval documents and design drawings at the same time, and confirm the standardization of the words used before approving. Thirteenth news publishing units and their competent departments must review the publishing words when reviewing the editing and proofreading quality of publications. Publications whose nonstandard words exceed the standards prescribed by the state shall not be approved for publication. Standardized Chinese characters should be widely used in all kinds of publications distributed to Taiwan Province Province, Hongkong, Macao and overseas. If it is really necessary to issue a traditional Chinese version, it must be examined by the competent department of press and publication of this Municipality and reported to the Press and Publication Administration for approval. Fourteenth the following circumstances are not within the scope of correction:
(1) Reprinting and sorting out traditional Chinese characters in published ancient books;
(2) variations in surnames;
(3) figures in cultural relics and historic sites;
(4) Inscriptions, inscriptions and calligraphy by revolutionary leaders, historical and cultural celebrities, revolutionary martyrs, compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, international friends and returned overseas Chinese;
(five) influential old industrial and commercial enterprises established before the founding of the People's Republic of China;
(6) Trademarks registered before the promulgation of these Provisions.
