Mineral resources in Shuidao town

The town is rich in underground mineral resources, including gold, iron sulfide, bluestone and feldspar. Jinniu Mountain in the town runs through seven or eight gold veins and has been mining gold for a long time. Gold mining began here in the Ming Dynasty, which is the main pillar industrial zone of gold production in Muping District. There are Sino-foreign joint ventures and township enterprises, such as gold mining, casting, construction, feldspar processing and stone processing.
