Guiyu Street Road Shed was built in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty, with a history of more than 400 years. Every year at the beginning of February in the lunar calendar, a three-day traditional "spring outing" is held, imitating the practice of Suzhou Temple Fair, and at the same time, a painting and calligraphy exhibition is held, initiated by local scholars Chen Jiang and Chen Yun. Throughout the ages, villagers have a special liking for activities to commemorate the heroes Zhang Xun and Xu Yuan who died in the Tang Dynasty to resist the Anshi Rebellion, and they are used to each other. In the early Qing Dynasty, all kinds of paintings and calligraphy competed to participate. "Art garden blind, ten thousand goods. On the first day, it was sunny and cloudy, and the narrow roads followed. " This is a vivid portrayal of the "street shed" in Chaoyang County Records in Qing Dynasty. Nowadays, this traditional folk cultural activity, which has been passed down for hundreds of years, has been given more new contents. With the help of traditional folk cultural activities, Guiyu people have been educated and edified by fresh patriotism and traditional virtues, making street shed activities more distinctive and elegant. After 1950, it was closed for various historical reasons. From 65438 to 0989, with the care and support of various departments and the joint efforts of folks at home and abroad, the "street shed" was restored. Since 1999, the exhibition scope and entertainment activities have been expanded, and the content has been further innovated.
