The Influence of Master Fazang on Later Generations
Fazang is the founder of Huayan Sect of Buddhism and is regarded as the third ancestor of Huayan Sect. Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty was born in the first year (7 12),14, and died in Dajianfu Temple in Chang 'an, Tang Dou at the age of 70. Disciple asked Secretary Yan to inscribe "Monument to Kangzang Master of DaJianfu Temple in Datang". Cui Zhiyuan, a native of Silla, traveled to China in the late Tang Dynasty and wrote The Biography of Monks in Dade Jianfu Temple in the Tang Dynasty. However, Zanning's Biography of Song Monks is titled Buddhist Inscriptions in Zhou Monastery and Tibetan Buddhism, which is undoubtedly due to the fact that French Buddhism was engaged in activities in Luoyang, the capital of God, and founded Buddhism with the support of Wu Zetian. These three documents, as well as Biography of the Sage Fazang Master in the Song Dynasty and Biography of the Three Sages and Sages in the Qing Dynasty, all say that the custom of Fazang is Kang, because the ancestors were Kangju people, so they took the country name as their surname. Yanbei also said: "All previous dynasties were prime ministers of Kangju, and their ancestors came to Korea from Kangju, and their fathers were quiet, and the court gave them to Zuo Shizhong." The term "comfortable residence" here actually refers to Guo Kang, which is a customary name. In the Tang Dynasty, a comfortable residence was set up in the local area. Guo Kang is adjacent to North Tianzhu and influenced by Buddhist culture. Therefore, when Cui Chuan described Fazang's surname, he said, "If you live in a comfortable place, you will collect bamboos, and others will teach everyone. You can be a teacher or a king of France.
