This film imagines the origin of "The Book of kells", a Bible manuscript decorated with clay gold and an Irish national treasure.

In the 9th century A.D., the vikings were rampant, and they burned, killed and looted, committing all kinds of evils. In the remote Irish forest, Abbot Serah repaired and strengthened a huge wall to cope with the upcoming Viking attack. Cellac didn't know that his young nephew Brandon had no interest in fighting-he secretly apprenticed at the Scripture Pavilion in the monastery.

As the Vikings approached, the respected painter Aidan fled to the monastery with the unfinished book of kells. In order to resist the Viking invasion, monks from all corners of the country were called together to build a wall, and no one could draw scriptures.

The future of this precious book falls on Brandon's shoulders. Under the guidance of Aidan, Brandon overcame his fear and disobeyed the orders of the dean, and went out of the monastery wall and dived into the dark forest, looking for materials to draw the Book of kells.

In the forest, Brandon meets aslin, a girl who can turn into a white wolf. With her help, Brandon passed five checkpoints and killed six generals in the dark forest. However, the monastery was finally unable to resist the Viking attack and was razed to the ground.

Aidan, who survived, took Brandon around Ireland. Many years later, many years later, Brandon completed the drawing of The Book of kells, and this precious Irish civilization has been handed down since then.

As a "national treasure" animation work in Ireland, this work combines culture with animation, and the composition of the whole animation is unique. The beautiful geometric composition in the film endows Irish national culture with special lines and painting style, which is a rare visual animation work.
