Acupuncture treatment for metrorrhagia

Treatment principles: For patients with internal disturbances of blood heat and qi stagnation and blood stasis, clear away heat and cool blood, promote qi and remove blood stasis, only acupuncture without moxibustion; for patients with kidney yang deficiency and qi and blood deficiency, warm the kidneys, help yang, and replenish qi. Take blood, use acupuncture and moxibustion together, and use tonic method.

Prescription: Mainly focus on the acupoints on the Foot and Taiyang Meridian.

Acupoints: Guanyuan, Sanyinjiao, Yinbai, Xuehai, Geshu.

Modifications and subtractions: internal disturbance of blood heat increases the heat in Dadun, Xingjian and Qimen; Qi stagnation and blood stasis plus Gu and Taichong to regulate qi and remove blood stasis; kidney yang deficiency plus moxibustion Qihai , Mingmen warms and nourishes the lower Yuan; if Qi and blood are insufficient, add moxibustion to Pishu and Zusanli to nourish Qi and blood, nourish blood and regulate menstruation.
