Notes on Augmented Xianwen (1): Preface

In order to save some time and do something else in the review, and to ensure that we can make up the review at any time, we will open another reading note to enrich the literature.

Transcribe the original text first, and then send some feelings of favorite sentences. Readers can only appreciate the original copy.

Firstly, this paper introduces the basic situation of augmented virtuous writing.

The Augmented Literatures in My Hands is a new book published by Zhonghua Book Company in March, 20021,translated by Li Chongchong, and it is one of the "full notes and full translations of China's classic books". According to the list at the back of the book, the series has published 1 13 titles. Reading Chinese classics, Zhonghua Book Company is still trustworthy.

Zengguang Xianwen was originally called Xianwen, and it was also called Xianwen in ancient and modern times. I don't know who compiled this book and when it started. The title of the book was first seen in Tang Xianzu's Peony Pavilion during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. After the continuous supplement and revision of the literati in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it became what it is now, which is called "Zengguang Xianwen", commonly known as "Zengguang Xianwen" or simply "Zengguang Xianwen".

Since the late Qing Dynasty, the book has been popular all over the country, with great influence, which is well known to all women and children. In the past, people used to say, "You can speak when you read the book, and you can walk the world when you read the kindergarten."

The sentences of augmented Xianwen are very incisive, with simple words, profound meanings and easy to understand. Formally, there are many pairs of opposites, and the rhyme is harmonious and catchy. Its content is quite extensive, involving settling down, dealing with people, etiquette and morality, scenery allusions, astronomy and geography, natural laws and so on. It embodies many thoughts such as Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, and contains rich life wisdom.

At the same time, this book exposes and criticizes many problems such as ugly human nature, official corruption and indifference. Some people think that these sentences, which pay too much attention to human feelings, are not friendly enough for children and are too secular and precocious as a kind of literature. But the dark side of society will not disappear out of thin air because of our temporary shielding, and the deep insight into human nature is also the highlight of this book. It is important that we should not underestimate the discrimination of children.
