What's the difference between Liao and Jin sites?

The difference between Liao Dynasty ruins and Jin Dynasty ruins;

First of all, from the perspective of cultural differences, Liao and Jin have different cultural and historical backgrounds. Liao was founded by the Khitan nationality who originated from Xilamulun River in Inner Mongolia, China. However, the Jin State was founded by the Jurchen nationality, which is descended from the Sushen nationality in Heilongjiang, China. The two nations have different birthplaces and received great cultural enlightenment. Although the two countries and nations blended and changed in the Song Dynasty, they still maintained their own cultural characteristics. Therefore, there are also different cultural symbols in Liao and Jin sites, and the cultural relics in the sites also reflect the characteristics and attributes of their respective cultures.

Then, from the perspective of tomb culture,

Liao country is closer to Song country and deeply influenced by western Buddhist culture and Han Confucian culture. A lot of scroll paintings often appear in tombs. 1974 Two-axis silk paintings of Liao country were unearthed from the Liao tomb in Yemaotai, Faku, Liaoning Province, one of which was a landscape painting "Landscape Pavilion" and the other was a flower-and-bird painting "Bamboo Birds and Two Rabbits". The former is a mature fusion of expression techniques in the Tang Dynasty, the Five Dynasties and the early Song Dynasty, while the latter takes a symmetrical form in composition, and the decorative taste is unwashed, so it comes from the hands of Qidan painters. This is invisible on the ruins of the state of Jin.

Jin came from the far east and was deeply influenced by Shamanism. Even if Buddhism later entered the State of Jin, it could not shake the position of Shamanism in the State of Jin. The most unique embodiment of this in tombs is cremation. Jurchen's early funeral was coffin-less, but when the People's Republic of China was founded, everyone, including nobles, was cremated. The dead all have coffins or coffins, and the nobles have stone tombs. There are stone tablets, statues, Shi Hu and Shiyang in front of the tombs, which are rare in the Central Plains.
