Heshun Library is one of the largest rural libraries in China, which was founded by overseas Chinese on 1924. It is a traditional building in China, with a garden in front and elegant appearance. There are more than 10 thousand books in this library, many of which are the most precious. Heshun Library was formerly known as "Xianxin Society" organized by Fuqing, a member village of Heshun League, and "Reading Newspaper" established by 1924. After donations from overseas Chinese and fellow villagers, it was expanded into a library on 1928, and the new library was completed on 1938. Up to now, there are more than 70,000 books, including rare books of ancient books 1000, which contain inscriptions by Hu Shi, Xiong Qinglai, Liao Chengzhi and Li Shiceng.
Heshun Library
When it comes to Heshun Township in Tengchong County, many people will naturally think of an idiom: outstanding people and outstanding people. This is not an empty compliment, but a real objective evaluation-as a "hometown of overseas Chinese" and "masterpiece" with long-standing reputation and rich historical and cultural connotations in the western Yunnan Plateau. There is a "cultural Tianjin" and a Heshun Library which is "the first in China's rural cultural circles".
